Locations
Environinfo2010 Conference will be held in 2 locations:
On Wednesday October 6th in Cologne as a Special Track of the Intergeo 2010 Conference on Geodesy, Geoinformation and Landmanagement. On Thursday October 7th and Friday 8th in Bonn University´s Geography Building. The linear distance between both locations is 25 km, or 30 min by train (plus 10 min walk).

How to get to the Cologne location
By plane (airport Köln/Bonn):
Take the local train S13 (direction "Horrem") to "Köln Messe/Deutz".
By train:
There are two possibilities:
- Directly to the ICE-Station "Köln Messe/Deutz" which is located next to the fairground
- From Cologne main station:
Local trains head to "Köln Messe/Deutz" (for example S6 to "Essen Hbf", S11 to "Hennef (Sieg)" or S11 to "Bergisch Gladbach")

By car:
Coming from "Kreuz Köln-Nord/-Ost" (motorways A1/4/57):
Follow the green signs to "Köln Messe" that will get you over the "Zoo bridge" to the exit "Köln Messe".
Coming from "Kreuz Köln-Heumar" (motorways A3/59):
Follow the green signs to "Köln Messe" which will lead you to the fairground over the eastern distribution road.
How to get to the Bonn location
By plane (airport Köln/Bonn):
Take the Bus SB60 from the airport to Bonn main station. From Bonn main station you can go by foot: Go about 50m to the East and walk through the pedestrian underpass under the rails. Follow the "Poppelsdorfer Allee" (the alley) for about 700m. At the end turn right and until you can see the Department of Geography right in front of you.
By train:
The easiest way to get from Bonn main station to the Department of Geography is by foot. Take the south exit of the station. Follow Quantiusstraße to the right for about 50m, then turn left and follow "Meckenheimer Allee" for about 700m until you arrive at the Department of Geography on the right hand.
By car:
Coming from the North:
On motorway A565 take the exit "Bonn-Endenich". Turn left and follow "Endenicher Straße". Then turn right into "Wittelsbacher Ring" and after about 700m turn right into "Meckenheimer Allee" and follow the street until you arrive at the Department of Geography on the right side.
Coming from the South:
On motorway A565 take the exit "Bonn-Poppelsdorf" and follow the road and turn into "Jagdweg". Then turn right into "Sternenburgstraße", after 300m turn right into "Clemens-August-Straße". After 550m you will arrive at the Department of Geography on the left side.
